Now I am remembering my summer holidays. This summer holidays coming after hard work for final exams. I was only thinking how to spend those days pleasantly. All the collected money we (me & my brothers) used to spend at this time. And some hobbies like fishing, reading books, hearing music starts at this time. There is one Jasmin tree in my house-yard which will be full of flowers. Me and my sister collect flowers from those jasmine trees with a team spirit to see who is collecting more flowers. In summer days another thing is we will go to relative’s houses and will stay some three or four days there and doing fun with cousins. Actually this summer vacation will not vanish from my mind. That much nostalgic feeling.
The toughest challenge someone ever faces usually changes. For some more than others. For me I thought it was when I had to move out of home. I won’t go into heavy detail, but it involved some legal matters when I was 13 and my father doing something he shouldn’t have. My uncle took me in. It was a really tough adjustment for someone of that age. New lifestyle, new home, everything and everyone a stranger. I thought this was the hardest thing I ever had to do, but I was wrong. Ten years later that very uncle wound up with terminal cancer. Taking care of him was a no brainer, but the challenges of having someone in my home that was ill, helping with the medical bills, and having to see someone you care so much for in pain was excruciating. I thought that was the toughest challenge I had ever faced, but was again dead wrong. A year later he passed away two months after I had lost my job. Paying for funeral expenses, medical bills he had left behind was just a small issue. The toughest challenge and still a challenge in my life is coping with him no longer being there.
Self motivation can be tricky some days I want to just do things othersI’m dragging my behind. I think that’s kind of human nature. Some days we are raring to go and get things done. I usually motivate myself by saying to myself that if i don’t do it now it’s more I have to do tomorrow. On days I’m really feeling like I don’t want to do a thing I remind myself “hey if you don’t get this done you don’t get paid… you don’t get paid you can’t pay bills, you can’t pay bills then no internet and electricity which means no internet surfing, no gaming, no way to cook food and no online shopping. That usually pushes me to do the chores I have to do.
If, in the recent times, we have a lot of trending in social sites, different countries are now meeting halfway. Do you know what I mean? Well, we are all aware just how the economy is taking its toll on everyone. Even the first world countries are now affected by the global recession. That’s right! With the many short term loans UK offered, we are but just one of the countries to be hit with the decentralized progression of poverty, that may even lead to famine. Now, I just would like to ask this - where is the money going?
Most of my jobs in my life have been in geriatric care. I have taken care of the elderly in a variety of capacities, which have included: activity programmer at a nursing home, social worker at a nursing home, nursing assistant at a nursing home, and nursing director at an assisted living facility. In addition, I have done private in-home care for the elderly. My favorite job I ever had was when I lived with an elderly lady during the last three years of her life. She had end-stage Alzheimer’s. Even though she didn’t have the capacity to learn my name, she knew I was the person who lived with her and took care of her. I was her best friend. I was a single mom at the time, and it was an opportunity to stay at home and be with my daughter, yet still be gainfully employed. Elsa and I did everything together. We walked together, went shopping together, and attended my daughter’s violin recitals together. We had a pet Pomeranian dog, Angel, who became very sick once. Elsa and the dog were very close. Angel was in the pet hospital dying, and finally I insisted that Angel have a chance to visit with Elsa. Magically, when Angel saw Elsa, she perked back to life, and we were able to take Angel home again. They were each other’s angel. The wonderful lesson I learned from Elsa is that no matter how far “gone” someone seems to be in his or her dementia, the person is still in there.
Although there may be a lot of people under financial constraint in the current economy, there is no denying that there are just as many institutions that are willing to assist those with this kind of problem. Offers such as bad credit car finance is very tempting especially during times of need. But, before entering any type of transaction involving finance companies, be sure that you can pay up the loaned amount in time. Do not allow yourself to get too buried in debt. Surely, that is one of the circumstances that you wouldn’t allow yourself to end up in.
If I had $1,000 to spend at one store, I would probably choose B&H Photo and Video in New York City, which has one of the largest selections of photographic gear that you’ll find anywhere. I have lusted over a single lens reflex camera for a long time, and those that I am considering would run just about $1,000. I am looking at a Canon, with two different lenses so I can easily get the artistic shots that I enjoy taking, as well as the obligatory family snapshots. I’ve been a photo enthusiast for much of my life, honing my skills on small Brownie film cameras, and then graduating to 35mm film. Now, photography has an entirely new set of rules as everything has gone digital. I’m really looking forward to getting my first digital SLR camera. Now, if I could only get rid of the 35mm film cameras that are taking up space in my closet!
You should always like the job you currently have the most, even if you hate it. That’s because you spend most of your day at this job, so you should always make the best of the situation, at least until you can find a new job which can then become your favorite. Over the years, I have held positions as a switchboard operator, as a clerk in the credit department of a major department store chain, as a personnel assistant, an audiovisual scriptwriter, a college department head (in three different colleges) and as a front desk administrator, which is my current job. I actually do like my current job a lot, since it is low stress and I work with a group of terrific people. I really do enjoy going to work!
